About Dikalog

Dikalog is a visual workspace for film lovers, offering tools to import, organize, and discover movies. Our services include an advanced list editor, infinite canvas boards, and AI-powered recommendations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information when you use our service.

Data We Use

We use movie data from TMDB to provide information about films, directors, and actors. We do not claim ownership of this metadata.

Your Lists & Boards: The lists you import (via text/CSV) and the boards you create are stored securely associated with your account. We do not sell or share your personal curation data with third parties.

Information Collection

We collect the following information to provide and improve our service:

  • Account Information: If you sign in, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture (via Google) to create your account.
  • Usage Data: We collect anonymous analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve the application performance.
  • AI Interactions: When you use our AI recommendation features, your text prompts are processed to generate suggestions. These prompts are not used to train public models.
  • Swipe History: We store your liked and discarded films to improve your recommendations and maintain your lists.
  • Payment Information: If you upgrade to Pro, your payment is processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

How We Use Information

  • Sync your movie lists, swipe history, and studio boards across devices.
  • Provide personalized movie recommendations based on your swipe history.
  • Process your AI recommendation requests.

  • Dodo Payments: For processing Pro purchase payments.

  • AI Providers: For generating movie recommendations.

  • Access & Update: You can view and update your account information by signing in.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

All movie data comes from TMDB. Please respect their terms of service and attribution requirements when using this data.
