About

Dikalog.

Our name is no coincidence. We are inspired by Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Dekalog, a masterpiece that proves cinema is the ultimate medium for exploring the complexity of human morality and connection.

Just as these ten films weave together independent stories to form a greater whole, Dikalog is built to weave together your cinematic life. We believe that every film is a conversation starter, a dialogue between the viewer and the screen, and between us as a community.

Dika is a nod to the Greek deka (ten). It honors the structure of Kieślowski’s magnum opus, but it also reflects the way we curate culture today. From top 10 films to top 10 songs, the number ten offers a simple, familiar framework that helps us organize and share what matters most.

We built this platform because we believe the things you watch define who you are. Dikalog is a new way to visualize that identity, starting with cinema, but built to log everything that matters.

What is Dikalog?

Dikalog is a powerful List Editor and Companion Tool for Letterboxd users, streamlining the process of importing, cleaning, and managing movie lists. But it has evolved into something much more.

Smart Lists: Managing movie lists outside of Letterboxd is messy. Dikalog acts as a smart "Staging Area," parsing raw text or CSVs and instantly fetching rich metadata from TMDB to help you clean and organize your collections.

AI Recommendations: Stuck on what to watch? Our AI Assistant understands your taste. Describe a vibe, a plot, or a feeling, and let Dikalog curate personalized recommendations just for you.

Infinite Board: Break free from the grid. The Studio Board offers an infinite canvas to visualize your cinema. Map out connections between directors and films, create mood boards, and explore the hidden threads that tie your favorite movies together.

Whether you are a Power User managing large watchlists, a List Curator cleaning up messy data, or a Social Sharer looking to visualize your "Top 10" lists for Instagram, Dikalog offers the tools you need to curate with confidence.
